The Iona Library has story time every Wednesday & Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Come and join the fun!
This summer, Iona held a free Poetry class taught by a local English teacher. The class was for all ages and they learned about and practiced different poetry styles, then shared them at a poetry slam in the park. The class was so fun that FOIL is planning on offering another session this winter. Stay tuned for dates and times!
Pre-Covid, FOIL’s largest and most popular event was the Daddy-Daughter Princess Party. Dads and daughters came in fabulous costumes, posed for photos with local beauty queens and princesses, and enjoyed dancing and yummy appetizers. FOIL hopes to host this event early next spring. Please let them know if you’re interested in volunteering to help.
