One issue that we are seeing in Libby is that patrons who have not removed their IFPL card are getting a verification error when they try to check out items. In this article we will take you step by step through the process of removing your IFPL card so that this error goes away.
Step 1: Open Libby, and tap on the menu icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of your library list and tap on “Manage Cards”
Step 3: Select the Idaho Falls Library Card (maroon and blue), and tap “Actions” (If there is more than one card, select the one that begins with 21212.)
Step 4: Tap on “Remove Card”
Step 5: Tap on “Yes, Remove Card.”
Step 6: Now, if you haven’t already, you can add the Idaho Falls Public Library with your BCLD card and you will be able to check out items from their catalog without the verification error.

Since our grand opening we have had a lot of questions about eBooks and audio books. We are so excited about your enthusiasm for these resources! We currently have access to over 24,000 titles through Libby, with many more on the way. To get access to these resources, follow the steps below:
To get your library card you will need a photo ID (Driver’s license or state ID), and a piece of mail or a bill with your name and current address (utility bill, car insurance, etc…). Bring these to one of our branches and our staff will get you set up with a library card. If you live within the city limits of Idaho Falls, or outside of Bonneville County, there will be a $65 annual registration fee. This allows everyone in your household to receive a library card for one year. If you live in Bonneville County AND outside Idaho Falls city limits you have already paid your household fee with your annual taxes.
By following the above steps you can add all of the following libraries to your Libby account:
