Grants are critically important to libraries because they provide essential funding and resources that allow them to fulfill their mission of serving the community. Here are key reasons why grants are vital:
- Supplement Budgets
Our libraries operate on a conservative budgets, funded by your precious tax dollars. Grants help fill gaps, ensuring libraries can continue to offer a wide range of services without compromising quality. - Support Critical Programs
Grants enable us to continue to offer innovative programs, such as digital literacy classes, STEAM programming, Summer Reading and literacy outreach programs, that might not be possible with existing funds. - Expand Access to Resources
These grants allow the library to invest in new collections, technology, and tools—that improve accessibility for all patrons in our community. - Foster Community Development
Through grant-funded programs, we can address specific community challenges like job training, education, or digital inclusion, serving as hubs for social and economic growth.
We would like to recognize the following community partners who have supported the Bonneville County Library District.
