- Shocking Science: A demonstration of electric charge using a Van de Graaff generator. Kids will get to touch electricity, watch their hair stand up straight when charged with static, and shock their friends with a high-five. I can do cool stuff inside on the carpet with that one that can’t be done outside, so it’ll do well for the 1 inside event.
- PIVNERT: a demonstration of how temperature, pressure and volume are all related. Participants can learn to crush their pop cans with the power of atmospheric pressure, can make marshmallows grow without even touching them, and can make their own little version of a submarine.
- Pressure and flow: a demonstration of how air has mass and how that impacts us. Kids will get to use my Bernoulli cannons and shoot pompoms at their friends, brave participants will get to experience the weight of the air around us using a contractor bag, and we will use balloons to demonstrate how a bed of nails isn’t as scary as it seems.
