NEW SCHEDULE BEGINS SEPTEMBER!
October 4 O'clock Fun Club Schedule for Ucon & Iona
Week of Oct. 5th - Outdoor Games: Come enjoy the beautiful Fall weather while trying out some tried and true outdoor games. Then work together to create our very own Ironkids Challenges! We don't need a triathlon, we can create our own fun challenges, such as obstacle courses, balancing tricks, trick shots and more!
Week of Oct. 12th - Ucon is closed on Monday; no Fun Club this week.
Iona will do Spooky Stories and Pictures: Brush up your creative skills with Halloween chalk pictures and write a fun story to go along with it. Share your pictures and stories with a Show & Tell once we're finished. We'll have a hauntingly good time!
Week of Oct. 19th - Stomp Rockets: Come create your own rocket, then we'll go outside (weather permitting) and test out our rocket launchers! How high can your rocket fly? Can you shoot it through the hoop of death? How fast is your rocket?
Week of Oct. 26th - Ghost Lights: Just in time for Halloween, you can come create your own cute ghost light to bring some spooky decor to your house before those ghosts and goblins come out with the trick-or-treaters.
The Library Fun Club is the perfect opportunity for school-aged children (up to 12 years old) to enjoy a variety of activities at the library! Kids can learn, play games, or color fun pages. While activities are guided by a librarian, there is no formal babysitting available, and most activities are self-paced, allowing children to participate at their convenience. For children under 8, we kindly request that parents or guardians remain on-site, as drop-offs are discouraged.
Activities are subject to change according to interest or librarian preference.
