The Bonneville County Library District announces our
Fall-i-Day Reading Challenge for 2024!
All readers are encouraged to join in the challenge and complete a BINGO card for their reading ability. The reading and registration begins on October 1st. Independent Readers can come into the library to pick up your card and your library lanyard. Early Readers will pick up their BINGO cards and a sticker. You can complete your first BINGO and check in with your librarian starting October 7th. One BINGO must be a DIAGONAL. You have 10 weeks to meet your reading goal and finish a black out card. Please bring your Bingo card with you when checking in. You can earn one BINGO per week.
The incentives this year for Independent Readers will be collector pins and there will be a variety to collect each week to add to your lanyard. The prizes for Early Readers will be assorted prizes to take home. GRAND PRIZES will be given to BLACK OUT CARDS ONLY. The grand prize for Independent Readers will be a Library Fall-i-Day Mug and the grand prize for the Early Readers will be a special library Stuffie. The last day to collect pins and prizes will be December 14th.
Each week the Independent Readers will receive a surprise coupon with their pins. We would like to thank our sponsors for assisting us with extra incentives for this years challenge.
The library would also like to give a huge shout out to our friends groups: Friends of the Iona Library (FOIL) and Friends Assisting Bonneville Libraries (FABL.) If you would like to join or help these organizations please contact them by clicking on our “Friends Group” tabs!
As always we at the library encourage you to share the joy of reading by either reading with someone or talking to someone about every book you read. This positive reinforcement leads to the joy of reading and can impact young and old readers lives alike.
