Since our grand opening we have had a lot of questions about eBooks and audio books. We are so excited about your enthusiasm for these resources! We currently have access to over 24,000 titles through Libby, with many more on the way. To get access to these resources, follow the steps below:
1- Get your BCLD library card
To get your library card you will need a photo ID (Driver’s license or state ID), and a piece of mail or a bill with your name and current address (utility bill, car insurance, etc…). Bring these to one of our branches and our staff will get you set up with a library card. If you live within the city limits of Idaho Falls, or outside of Bonneville County, there will be a $65 annual registration fee. This allows everyone in your household to receive a library card for one year. If you live in Bonneville County AND outside Idaho Falls city limits you have already paid your household fee with your annual taxes.
2- Set up Libby on your phone or tablet
- Download the Libby App on your phone or tablet
- Search for “Bonneville County Library District” or “Bonneville”
- Click on the library you want to add, for example: “Idaho Digital Consortium”
- Click on Partner Libraries and select “Bonneville County Library District”
- Enter your library card number
- Enter your password (last 4 digits of your library card)
By following the above steps you can add all of the following libraries to your Libby account:
